Unit2 My favourite season 教学设计

目标依据:

依据新课标,要求小学五年级学生能借助图片、图像、手势听懂简单的话语或录音材料;能听懂课堂活动中简单的提问;能听懂常用指令和要求并做出适当的反应;能在口头表达中做到发音清楚、语调基本达意;能就所熟悉的个人情况进行简短对话;能按要求用简单的英语做游戏,能体会到英语学习的乐趣;在学习中集中注意力;敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误;积极参与各种课堂学习活动,积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。

教材分析:

    My favourite season是人教pep小学英语五年级下册第二单元内容。本单元围绕“Season”进行话题学习,学生在掌握春、夏、秋、冬四季表达方式的基础上互相询问“Which season do you like best?”,通过表达喜欢某个季节所特有的事物或是在这个季节经常做的事情来进行回答。本课时是本单元第一课时Let's talkMr Jones调查学生最喜欢的季节,以表格调查的形式呈现。在Let's try 环节,学生复习表示天气的单词,同时通过听音选择,今天正确的天气情况,为Let's talk 环节的季节学习做好热身活动;Let's talk 环节课前通过播放《四季歌》,引出本节课话题“season”,同时Mr Jones运用一般现在时特殊疑问句“Which season do you like best?”了解学生们最喜欢的季节,学生进行回答并简单运用“like”句型描述原因。同时也为下一单元学习每个季节里的月份作好知识铺垫。

学情分析:

在四年级下册Unit3中,学生已经学习过一些表示表示天气的形容词,本节课将在此基础上学习如何询问并回答对季节的喜好。学生在基于原有知识结构的基础上,会很容易理解课文内容,再加上本单元教学内容比较轻松、有趣、贴近学生生活,因此能够给予学生更多在生活中说英语的空间。

教学目标:

1. 能在图片的帮助下听懂并完成Let’s try 的听力任务。

2. 能听懂、理解对话大意,用正确的语音、语调、按意群朗读对话,并能进行角色扮演。

3. 能够在情景中运用句型:“Which season do you like best?  ”“I like ..best”询问并谈论自己最喜欢的季节。

4. 能够在语境中理解生词snow, best, winter, spring, which的意思,并能正确发音。

5.通过游戏,歌曲、表演等方式,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。让学生懂得观察四季的变化,感受大自然之美,热爱生活的美好情感。

教学重难点:

1. 重点能够在情景中运用句型:“Which season do you like best?  

I like ..best”询问并谈论自己最喜欢的季节。

2. 难点:在情景中运用句型Which season do you like best? Winter. 询问并回答对季节的喜好,并说出原因。

教学准备:

多媒体课件、词卡、学生习题纸

教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up/ leading

1.Greetings.

2Free talk:

T: What’s the weather like today?   Ss: It’s …

T: It’s warm today, I feel so happy, are you happy?   SsYes.

3Sing a song together.

T: Do you like the music, Children.?

Ss: Yes.

T Now,  Let’s enjoy some music.

播放The Four Seasons.,师生共同欣赏欣赏。

TIt’s very beautiful. What is it? What’s the song about?  Ss: season.  

T: The Four Seasons. 出示词卡,教读:season, seasons.Thefourseasons.  板书,生练读。

4Guessing game

T: Children, let’s play a guessing game. Let’s go.师出示PPT,生猜猜是哪个季节。

1It is warm and windy. The trees are green. I can wear my jacket.  I can fly a kite. Which season is it?

2The weather is cool and windy. The coloursare pretty!  I can pick apples.  Which season is it?

3It is white and cold.  I can wear my gloves and play in the snow. Which season is it?

4It is hot.  I can wear my new dress and go swimming. We have Children’s Day. Which season is it?

复习四个有关季节的单词,板书教读。

Step 2Presentation

1Ask and answer

1T: What’s your favourite season? / Which season do you like best? Why? 引导学生说出自己最喜欢的季节,并说出原因。

教师引导学生用I like…句型说说自己的喜好,并用句型It’s...简单介绍喜欢的理由。

2) 教师在课件上出示可爱的雪人,说:I like the snowman. It’s very pretty.

教师在课件上出示漂亮的花,说:I like the flower. It’s very beautiful.引导学生运用句型I like … It’s …说出自己的喜好及原因。

3) 呈现并操练核心句型Which season do you like best?

教师出示四季图片,学生看图感知四季的意义,并初步了解四季的单词读法。教师选择任意一幅季节图片,如spring,在图片下方出示笑脸,并介绍:I like spring best. 学生模仿选择季节图片,描述喜好。如不会说季节的名称,可直接指着图片介绍道:I like this/that best.

教师提问Which season do you like best? 学生感知问句,并回答:I like ... best.

同桌之间运用句型Which season do you like best? I like ... best.进行练习,教师提供必要的帮助。

 

2 Let’s try

T: Well done! Look, Mike and Chen Jie are talking about the weather,Please open your bookssand turn to page 14, look at the picture of Let’s try. Can you find any tips? 引导学生找出提示的词组,朗读。

T: What’s the weather like today? Let’s listen and write. 播放听力录音,生听音答题。核对答案。

T: What’s  Chen  Jie’s  favourite season? 继续播放听力内容,生听音回答。

2Let’s  talk

1T: You did a good job. Look at the picture. PPT出示对话背景图。Who are they? Where are they? 引导学生看图回答。What will they do today? 引导生预测。Let’s listen and choose.学生听录音做选择。

T: Today we’ll draw the seasons. 揭示本文话题背景:画四季。

(2) 教师再次播放A Let’s talk课文录音,学生回答问题:

Which season does Mike like best? Why?

Which season does Wu Yifan like best? Why?

出示文本,生听录音阅读理解对话,核对答案。

3)呈现文本,师生共同学习理解对话内容。

4Listen and imitate. 对话文本逐句听音跟读,模仿,注意语音语调。

5Read in roles. 师生分角色齐读对话;生小组合作分角色读。

Step3 Practice

1、   Act it out in roles. 戴头饰分角色表演对话。评出优胜组。

2、   Make a new dialogue.学生俩人一组运用组要句型创编对话并表演。

  I can ___________.

3Talk about your favourite seasons.

T: Boys and girls. How to talk about the seasons? Yes. We can talk about the weather, the clothing, activities Now lets talk about your favourite seasons.My favourite season为题目写一段话,写出这个季节的特点 并说明原因。写完后在班上与其他同学分享。

4、    Good to know

学生看世界地图了解世界天气:When it is fall in Beijing, it is spring  in Sydney. When it is winter in Beijing, it is summer in Sydney.

Step 4: Summary

1、教师引导学生总结本课所学重点句型,询问最喜欢的是哪个季节的句型及其答句:问:Which season +助动词++like best?/ What's your favourite season?

答:人+like(s)+季节+best./季节.

2、教育学生要:Enjoy the beauty of nature, share your happiness.

享受自然之美,分享你的快乐!

Step 5: Homework

1Listen to the tape and follow it.(听录音,跟读对话。)

2Draw the four seasons and say.

3Go on talking about the seasons and share your feelings with your friends.
